Patrick is a professor, writer, and researcher living in Brooklyn, NY.

He is Core Faculty in the School of Psychology and the Ph.D. Program in Psychology with an emphasis in Media and Technology at Fielding Graduate University.

He is also the Director of the Society, Technology, and Subjectivity Lab, and an Associate Editor at Psychology of Popular Media. His dissertation received the 2022 Outstanding Dissertation Award in Media Psychology and Technology from Division 46 of the American Psychological Association.
